I had never done a bar crawl, even though I loved movies like The World's End (sci fi bar crawl.. you should check it out). So, I signed up for one off the Facebook events link I figured if nothing else I would get to know St Pete bars, and I did... very cool. I even went to a few not on the crawl that would be nice to see, again. Here's some highlights...
This is a collage of pics from Parks and Rec, where the crawl began. They have all kins of activities that you could do, as well as a dance floor, pool tables, and more.
At Pour Judgement, I had this shot, which was the tastiest and one of the strongest shots I had that night. When I asked what was in it, he shrugged his shoulders, so I don't know, but it was good. Following is another pic from there...
As I made my way back towards the lower bars, I stopped in at this quant little Irish pub called Mary Margaret's Olde Irish Tavern. It had an AWESOME Irish Wiskey and very nice Irish music singer that was playing. The Reuben was also incredible.
At the Avenue, which is next to Parks and Rec, they gave me this "Pennywise martini" that had cotton candy that disappeared into it. It's also a very active and pretty sports bar.
Also a bar not on the crawl but very worthy is Saigon Blonde. The lighting and the drinks are relaxing and puts you in a great mood for the night.
